Fasting



One practice that has made my life a whole lot better is practicing fasting. There are two types of fasting practices that can help you.

 

First is physical fasting which could be either whole day fast or intermittent fasting 1-2 times a week. You may know how much I struggled to lose excess body weight

for years..

 

This habit of intermittent fasting helped me not just lose weight but also have more energy.

 

If doing an intermittent fast seems daunting to you, perhaps you could start with skipping a meal preferably dinner.. It'll do wonders for your physical body.

 

Second type of fast is digital fasting.

 

Now I know how tempting it can be to get on social media and scroll. However, scrolling may help you feel like you're relaxing in the moment but in the long run it's a massive waste of your precious time.

 

My suggestion would be to practice a digital fast once or twice a week.. You'll be surprised how much time you end up saving which you can use for something else that you want to do.

 

So consider both these fasting practices and you'll feel better both in your body and mind.
