Breath-Work

At the risk of sounding morbid your breath is what makes everything else possible and meaningful in life.. Have you noticed how you breathe when you are tense, angry
or frustrated? What about when you feel relaxed, joyful and happy? There’s a difference in the quality of your breath.

If you’re wondering how this practice of breathing is going to help you with any life goal you want to achieve turn up the volume here..

The life force, energy, chi, prana whatever you want to call it is coursing through your physical body right now.

Everything you want to experience is possible only when you take care of your physical body because that is the medium or channel that holds this life energy and makes
life possible.

Then doesn't it make sense to take care of the channel body and the breath? The simplest and powerful way to care for your body and mind together is through a
simple practice of breath-work.

The practice of pranayama helps you to notice the quality of your breath, paying attention to your breath several times a day strengthens the breath and makes
you stronger..

There are different types of pranayama which are and are called cooling and warming pranayama techniques..
Learning such techniques is fairly simple.

The simplest breath-work technique that I've learned is called the box-breathing technique.. You inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4 and again hold for 4
counts.. Doing this simple breathwork several times a day for 4-5 counts can be incredible in reducing stress.

Consider creating a breath-work practice for yourself.
